Police arrest 2 men involved in shooting
NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have arrested two men responsible for a robbery and shooting at a South Florida flea market Saturday night.
Police arrested Jerrod Adams and Jarvis Robinson soon after robbing and shooting a man at Flea Market USA at 3013 NW 79th St. The two face charges of attempted first degree murder and armed robbery.
According to witnesses, two people were leaving the flea market after having their jewelry cleaned when armed robbers approached them and robbed them of their jewelry. "I heard one shot, then I saw everybody running out, so I started running out too," said Charles Park.
The suspects fired shots and someone was shot in the leg. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported one victim of a gun shot wound to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
A couple of employees from the flea market tracked Adams and Robinson to a nearby trailer park where police said the men then tried to steal a car but were unsuccessful.
