Swim advisories issued for the weekend

MIAMI (WSVN) -- If you're thinking about going to the beach this weekend, authorities have issued a warning you should be aware of.
The Florida Department of Health has posted swim advisories at several beaches after tests revealed high levels of bacteria.
Virginia beach, Dog Beach, Key Biscayne Beach Club, Cape Florida Park and Wading Beach at Matheson Hammock Park are all affected.
Officials explained that run-off as a result of the recent rainstorms has contaminated the waters. At the same time, they said, more rain could clear up the waters.
Health officials will conduct periodic tests during the weekend to see if the waters can be deemed safe to swim in once again. You can click on the link below the image to see the results of the most recent tests of the waters currently affected by the advisories.
