Surveillance video released of two men ambushing homeowner

MIRAMAR, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released surveillance video of a shooting that left a man critically injured in his front yard.
Felipe Rivera, 23, was doing yard work at his home near Southwest 40th Street and 60th Avenue, when nearby surveillance video captured two men walking down State Road Seven and turning on Southwest 40th Street where Rivera lives.
The video then shows the two subjects walking up to Rivera and a struggle ensues. Then the two men are seen running from the scene.
Police said, Rivera refused to give up his gold chain when the men demanded it. "Basically, the guy was mowing his lawn, and he was approached by two individuals. They pulled a gun on him. There was a struggle, and he was shot multiple times," said Tania Rues of Miramar Police.
Rivera continues to recover at Memorial Regional Hospital in unknown condition while authorities hope the surveillance video will help capture the two subjects.
