Teenager injured after falling off SUV
OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A teenager has been seriously injured after falling off an SUV Sunday.
Witnesses said he was standing on the running board of his mother's sport utility vehicle. "He was just hanging on like this and just slipped, hit the ground and the truck ran right over him. It was just scary to see," said Dennis Marquez.
The boy fell off when his mother slammed on the breaks, authorities said.
The teen was transported to Broward General Hospital with serious injuries.
No charges have been filed against his mother.
