Stuart man arrested after fireworks bust
STUART, Fla. (AP) -- A Stuart man is facing charges after Martin County authorities found about $100,000 worth of fireworks and explosives in his home.
Martin County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rhonda Irons said James Buhs has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and the illegal sale of fireworks. Irons said Buhs has been released from the Martin County Jail on $12,500 bond.
It is unclear if Buhs has an attorney and a telephone message left at his home was not immediately returned.
According to The Palm Beach Post, deputies found illegal fireworks, explosives, weapons and cash when they raided Buhs' home.
