
Pair of carjackers dressed as women arrested
AVENTURA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have arrested a pair of carjackers who were dressed in drag, after they stole a tourist's rental early Friday morning.
According to Aventura Police, crews responded to a robbery and carjacking at the ATM at the Bank of America located at 19645 Biscayne Blvd. at around 7:45 a.m.
The two cross dressed suspects took a tourist's grey Toyota Camry rental. The victim was not injured.
According to North Miami Beach Police, the two suspects fled onto Interstate 95 southbound, and they were eventually taken into custody at Northwest 135th Street and 7th Avenue.
The two men are now facing several charges.
