BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida woman is out on bond after police said she attempted to have her husband killed.

After appearing in bond court Thursday morning, Dalia Dippolito, 26, is out on a $25,000 bond, but she is still under house arrest at her mother's home after Boynton Beach Police said she hired a hit man to kill her husband. "We have her on surveillance video talking about wanting to have her husband dead and saying she's 5,000 percent sure that she wants this done," said Stephanie Slater of the Boynton Beach Police Department.

Dippolito also must stay a half a mile away from Michael Dippolito, the man she is accused of trying to have murdered. "They let me face her after they confronted her with it, and she was just trying to like, 'Let me talk to you, let me talk to you,' and you know the reality is that what more is there to say?" said Michael Dippolito.

Investigators said Dalia was acting when she cried at the fake crime scene they set up to make her think the murder had taken place. The hit man turned out to be an undercover officer.

Dalia's attorney would not discuss the details of the case. "I think that all that information, their marriage and all those facts are things that I'm well aware of already, and we'll just deal with this as we investigate the case," said Micheal Salnick.
