High speed chase ends with an arrest
MEDLEY, Fla. (WSVN) -- A high-speed chase broke out Wednesday morning after a man allegedly tried to run over a police officer.
The man lead police on a 10-minute chase throughout Hialeah. The pursuit ended near Northwest 74th Street and 72nd Avenue in Medley after officers deployed spike strips, taking out the car's tires.
The driver tried to flee on foot, but police used a Taser on him and took him into custody. One officer was involved in a minor accident during the pursuit.
