Police search for several suspects who jumped man for his jewelry

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A man was shot in the leg Thursday after several crooks took off with his chain.

According to officials, the 55-year-old victim told them some men jumped him after they got out of a car in the area of Northwest 30th Street and 14th Avenue in Miami.

The suspects took off with his chain and then shot the victim in the leg. Rescuers took the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he is recovering.
