2 Florida men die in small plane crash in Georgia

PAVO, Ga. (AP) -- Two Florida men have died in a small plane crash in south Georgia.
Authorities say pilot 62-year-old Robert F. Moreland and passenger 44-year-old Michael Villanueva of Boca Raton died in the crash late Thursday night.
The Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit picked up the signal from the plane's emergency locator transmitter and found the plane's wreckage in thick woods south of Pavo around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Authorities say the plane was flying from Montgomery, Ala., to Perry, Fla., when it likely hit bad weather and crashed.
The Seminole Nation released a statement saying the two men were executives for the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Seminole Gaming. The statement says they had been meeting with a business vendor in Montgomery.
