Man shot and robbed in grocery store parking lot

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade Police responded to the scene of a shooting in the parking lot of a grocery store.

Witnesses said a gunman attacked a customer as he stepped out of the Publix on Southwest 203rd Street and 127th Avenue Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said the suspect shot the victim in his leg before he took off with a piece of jewelry.

The victim is recovering at the hospital.
