Funeral service held for family killed in plane crash

WEST BROWARD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Friends and family came together to say goodbye to the family killed in the horrific Everglades plane crash.

Funeral services were held for Bruce Barber, wife Karen and their 14-year-old son Payton, who died after their plane crashed in the everglades on Sept. 22.

The family was returning to South Florida from the Florida Gator's game in Gainesville when the crash happened.

The NTSB said Barber had reported a fire on the aircraft before it went down.
