AT&T service connection restored

MIAMI (WSVN) -- AT&T mobile service subscribers in South Florida have had their connection restored after service problems Thursday afternoon.

According to AT&T, the bad connection in South Florida was caused by an equipment problem with its 3g network.

The issue left some customers without Internet and cell phone service from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

According to a technical support representative, cell phones, specifically data phones like the iPhone and Blackberry were affected.
