Sole survivor of Miramar triple murder speaks out
MIRAMAR, Fla. (WSVN) -- The sole survivor of a Miramar triple murder is speaking out, asking the suspect to turn himself in to police.
The mother hides her identity, as she plead to the public and the suspect during a news conference Monday. She was shot twice in the head and witnessed a triple murder, one of the victims: her 15-year-old daughter Nikita. "It's hard to go through it knowing that my daughter is gone. My friend and her son, my only daughter," said the unidentified woman.
The bloodshed happened on Aug. 17, inside a home at 9581 Encino St., while Nikita and her mom visited with friends Faith Bisasor and her son, 15-year-old Davion Bishop.
The woman said that day was too grotesque to talk about. She said she dialed the last number on her phone when she regained consciousness. "I guess it was the last number I called or something, I'm not sure, but I pushed send, and I remember saying I got shot twice," she said.
Eustace Hamilton's wife is wearing an eye patch because she cannot see through her left eye nor can she hear from her left ear. "For no reason at all, you know, our daughter is not here with us," said Hamilton as he clenches his wife's hand, "our friends are not here with us anymore, and they didn't deserve this. It's really hard. It's hard, but I just have to be strong because, you know, I have to be strong for her."
Her face is swollen and her heart is heavy. "My daughter is gone, and I could've gone too. I'm here, and I want to thank God," said the surviving victim.
Nikita would have been 16 years old this month. The family said they will celebrate Nikita's life when her birthday comes around.
Police said the motive of the shooting still remains unclear, and now the family is begging for help. "I just want you to turn yourself in, give yourself up to the police," said the victim.
If you have any information that can help police close this case, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $25,000 reward.
