MEDLEY, Fla. (WSVN) -- A business owner has announced a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help catch the person who stole a piece of pricey construction equipment.

Rocco Santorsola, the owner of Allied Truck, said the stolen machinery is worth $200,000. It's used to crush boulders into gravel and sand.

Santorsola believes whoever took it knew exactly what they were doing. "It's just not something you would ride by and say, 'Oh, I need that,'" Santorsola said. "You would have to really think about it and know what you're doing because it's so big, and it's not easy to move, and it's very recognizable."

The thief or thieves took the equipment from a fenced-in yard along 74th Avenue and Milam Dairy Road in Medley over the weekend.

Santorsola has put up a $10,000 reward to anyone that can help police make an arrest. If you have any information that can lead to an arrest in this case, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous.
