Florida governor Charlie Crist meets with Miami new mayor

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Governor Charlie Crist and the new City of Miami Mayor, Tomas Regalado, met for the first time.

Governor Crist and Miami mayor-elect Regalago met at Miami International Airport Monday morning for the first time since Regalado won his new seat.

Crist and Regalago both talked about state funding and future projects for the city.

After the meeting, Crist headed back to Tallahassee to prepare for Tropical Storm Ida's landfall.
