Suspected arsonists facing eviction appear in court

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A couple suspected of setting fire to one of their parents' mobile homes Monday appeared in bond court Wednesday morning.

Nicole Sloan and Timothy Rodriguez face arson and child endangerment charges for starting the blaze at Western Hills Mobile Home Park, along the 400 block of Southwest 132nd Avenue in Davie with their 2-year-old in tow.

The pair recently received an eviction notice.
