Gunman kills man sitting in vehicle

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for a killer whose crime was caught on camera.

Surveillance video captured the gunman jumping out of a dark colored Nissan Maxima, then walking up to a van. Then, suddenly, he starts shooting at the person inside. The shooter then fled the scene.

Police said the victim is 48-year-old Robert Tombo, an Honorary Sheriff's Deputy from Youngstown, Ohio. They found him deceased on the scene.

The shooting happened at Claude Pepper Park along Northwest 135th Street and 13th Avenue Thursday.

There is no word yet on a motive.
