UM temporarily locked down after BB gun scare

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police ordered the lockdown of a prominent South Florida university campus after a gun scare Friday afternoon.

Officials at the University of Miami alerted staff and students to remain indoors after passengers in a car were reportedly seen firing off a BB gun.

No one was injured in the incident, and campus police caught up with the suspects, taking them into custody.
