Child injured by 2-story fall

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A 6-year-old girl was injured when she fell out of a second-story window.

Boynton Beach police say the girl fell through the window screen Friday evening and was found lying on the sidewalk. She was taken to a nearby hospital with a broken leg, a dislocated shoulder and a cut to her chin.

A fire-rescue spokesman says the accident would have been hard to prevent.
