BOCA RATON, Fla. (WSVN) -- More than two dozen dogs found living in utter filth will soon be up for adoption.

The Tri County Humane Society received a phone call from an animal rescue group in Clewiston, which is in Palm Beach County.

The organization is asking for help after they removed 31 dogs from horrible living conditions. Half of the dogs had to be quarantined because they were in such bad shape.

Representatives for the Humane Society now need the public's help. "They were kept in squalid conditions. They were living in small pens outside, living with feces all over," said Susan Richards. "We wish we had room for all of them, but we couldn't take them all, and we're looking for good homes for these dogs."

According to the Tri County Human Society, all of the dogs should be available for adoption starting next week.
