Girl, 3, drowns in apartment complex pool

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials are investigating the drowning of a 3-year-old girl in a apartment pool Friday.

The child was found in the water, within the residential complex along 20th Avenue and Monroe street.

Authorities believe she was submerged for about 15 minutes.

The unresponsive little girl was rushed to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
