CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Devastated family and friends are remembering two sisters killed in a Thanksgiving tragedy.

A candlelight memorial was held Monday night for Carla Merhige and her pregnant twin sister, Lisa Knight, whom, police said, were shot and killed by their brother. "This is devastating, completely unfair," said a woman who attended the vigil. "These are the times when you question everything."

Paul Merhige is also accused of fatally shooting his 6-year-old cousin, Makayla Sitton, and his 79-year-old aunt. Police released the chilling 911 calls made moments after the shooting rampage. Now, five days later, family and friends are mourning their deaths.

The twins were known for their joy, their singing and their devotion to Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church. "We are here to celebrate their lives and how they touched us," said another woman at the memorial. "She's singing with the angels, Lisa and her."

In 2006, court records show Carla Merhige asked for a restraining order against her brother. Her complaint said he threatened to slit her throat.

Police consider him armed and dangerous. If you know anything about his whereabouts, please call Palm Beach Police 1-800-458-TIPS.
