MIAMI (WSVN) -- Reverend Richard Dunn is preparing to run for a recently vacated City of Miami commission seat.
Dunn is expected to officially announce his candidacy to represent District 5 in the Miami City Commission.
He's expected to run against suspended Miami Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones in a special election to be held in January.
Spence-Jones was suspended after she was arrested for allegedly diverting Miami-Dade County grant money to a family business.
Her lawyer appeared in court on her behalf Thursday and entered a plea of not guilty.
