NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the crooks who stole seven high priced vehicles.

Miami-Dade Police Detectives said they were able to recover several of the vehicles because one them is equipped with a low-jack tracking device. They found them in a Jackson Memorial Hospital parking garage.

The crooks stole three BMWs, two Range Rovers, a Mercedes Benz and an Audi from Miami Imports, located on State Road 7, at around 2:28 a.m. Tuesday. "They forced this metal gate open, and they kicked that door right through, after obviously disabling the power, ripping out the phone box, unplugging the alarm," said Michael Merino of Miami Imports. "They stole around $300,000 to $350,000 in total," Merino said of the value of the vehicles.

Merino said video surveillance showed what appeared to be four Hispanic males between the ages of 20 to 25 years old jumping the gate into Miami Imports.

"They were probably working for someone else who needs these cars. Probably someone who is exporting these cars out of the country, probably South America, Africa, you know. They do nothing, sleep all day and go out at night and steal cars," Merino said.

If you have any information on this robbery, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
