AMW hopes to solve S. Fla. murders

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A top crime-fighting show is hoping to solve a pair of South Florida murder mysteries.
America's Most Wanted host John Walsh taped an upcoming episode in Fort Lauderdale on Monday.
Walsh is profiling the murder of a man whose family founded the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. He's also looking into the Thanksgiving Day massacre in Jupiter, where 35-year-old Paul Merhige is accused of killing four of his relatives. "As a Floridian, this case has touched me deeply. Little Makayla was the same age as my son when he was murdered," said Walsh. "The Sittons have now joined the horrible club that I belong to, the parents of murdered children, and Paul Merhige should be caught immediately."
Merhige may be driving a royal blue 4-door Toyota Camry. There is a $100,000 reward.
Call Palm Beach Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS with information.
You can watch America's Most Wanted Saturday, at 9 p.m., on Channel Seven.
