Plane believed crashed in Bahamas

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The Coast Guard is searching for a small plane they believed crashed in the Bahamas after departing from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport early Thursday.

According to authorities, the twin-engine aircraft went down about 10 miles northeast of Acklin Island.

Two people were believed to be on board, however their names have not been released.
