Blind ducks rescued from filthy home

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A group of ducks were rescued from a townhouse in deplorable conditions.
Coconut Creek code enforcement officers found the ducks living with an elderly couple, along with seven cats and one dog.
Code enforcement condemned the house of filth because it was uninhabitable.
The ducks were reportedly being abused while in the townhouse.
The elderly couple kept the ducks inside the house in order to save them from a poacher in the area, but in the process deprived the ducks of much-needed sunlight, according to veterinarians. The ducks remained in the dark house for one year, which caused the ducks to lose their eyesight.
