Man being held, tests conducted liquid

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities still aren't sure what type of liquid forced an evacuation at Terminal Four at Port Everglades.

Authorities say tests suggested it wasn't hazardous, although the results were inconclusive. Additional samples are being tested.

About 300 people were evacuated Friday after a customs agent stopped a man with the suspicious liquid as passengers were disembarking a cruise ship. The Broward County Sheriff's Office identifies the man as 25-year-old Casey Eearl Flynn. He was charged with marijuana possession and bonded out of jail Saturday. Charges from the liquid incident are pending.

The terminal was reopened after three hours.

The customs agent was treated and later released from a hospital after inhaling fumes and complaining of lightheadedness and a rapid heart rate.
