Local offers iPhone repair

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida businessman is offering a service that will benefit others by fixing a popular phone in minutes.

Twenty-two-year-old Justin Weatherill took matters into his own hands and created a business that could impact millions.

Weatherill started ubreakifix.com to repair iPhones and iPods faster and cheaper for users than the devices' creator, Apple. "Took it from Ebay to the website, and I started a store, and it did way better than we could have ever imagined," said Weatherill.

The website-based company has grown to about 15 employees at five stores statewide including three in South Florida. "'The goal is to have a store in every major metropolitan area," said Weatherill.
