Police searching for rapist

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The Miami-Dade Police Department and Crime Stoppers are working together to stop a rapist on the run.
Investigators re-enacted a sexual battery that occurred on Feb. 4 in the area of on Northwest 62nd Street and 23rd Avenue.
The masked man approached the woman with a knife and then raped and robbed her. The victim then ran out into the street to wave down cars for help. "Somebody running at four in the morning on 62 Street, without any pants on from the waist down. It's something that anybody nearby can remember, and we're hoping anybody will call Crime Stoppers," said Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta.
Officials said the rapist had a ninja-like disguise, which matches two other sexual attacks that happened in Coconut Grove in October and November of last year.
If you have any information on this attack, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
