Woman shot dead at home

MIAMI (WSVN) -- City of Miami Police are investigating the death of a woman who died after being shot at a home in the presence of her two young children.
Police have confirmed the 19-year-old mother died at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, though they have not verified the official cause of her death.
Earlier, family members ran out of Ryder Trauma in tears saying their loved one had died. "She got two kids, it doesn't make any sense," said one person at the hospital. "She was a good mother, and all this was senseless."
Miami Police and Fire Rescue units responded to reports of the shooting that injured the woman at Northwest 68th Street and 14th Avenue, just after noon.
Miami Police Officer Jeffrey Giordano said they do not know how or why the shooting occurred but are questioning two close relatives. "Inside the house was an infant and another small toddler, and there was also her brother and the father of this infant and the other child. Right now, both of these subjects are being detained," he said.
Police, right now are still trying to confirm whether the shooting was accidental or intentional.
