MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida non-profit organization held its fifth annual charity gala Saturday night and a 7 News anchor took part in the event.
Diana Diaz hosted the His House Children's Home Gala as Mistress of Ceremonies at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Miami Beach. "It was great to host something I know is making a difference in the lives of these kids," said Diaz.
More than 400 guests attended the event that helps abused and neglected children.
The organization offers life awareness for South Florida children in crisis and offers support to their families. All proceeds from the event will benefit the organization.
