Man dies in police custody near Mayport after having seizure
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a man died in police custody after having a seizure. Now, the cause of death is under investigation.
Authorities say the unidentified man was pulled over overnight for speeding near the Mayport Naval Station. They say he began acting "strange" and had a seizure.
The man was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No further information has been released.
