
Police searching for jewelry store robbers
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for an unknown number of suspects who robbed a local jewelry store.
Surveillance video caught the crooks in action as they cut through the wall of an abandoned business to get into a neighboring jewelry store. They then cut a hole in a safe and stole $300,000 in gold and Rolex watches.
The heist occurred at Carol Jewelers along Coral Way and 72nd Avenue in Southwest Miami-Dade.
The owners are offering a $10,000 reward for the return of the merchandise.
