Fla. police: 2 robbers jump 3 Office Depot workers

WEST MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) -- Police on Florida's central Atlantic coast say they rescued three Office Depot workers after two armed robbers jumped them as they opened their store.

West Melbourne police Cmdr. Steve Wilkinson says one worker had a minor injury after being cut with a robber's knife. The other robber had a gun, but no one was shot. No customers were in the office supplies retailer when the robbery occurred around 6:35 a.m.

Wilkinson says a SWAT team is in the store trying to find the robbers. When officers went into the building and rescued the workers from the manager's office, no one else was there.

It is unclear if the robbers took any cash or products.

West Melbourne is about 30 miles south of Cape Canaveral.
