Celebrities to host Obama fundraiser in South Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Some of the biggest celebrities in the world are hosting a fundraiser at a South Beach nightclub in the name of presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The event will be held Saturday night at Set Nightclub on Lincoln Road. The fundraiser is expected to bring in a large sum. It costs $250 per person and $1,000 per person for the VIP treatment. 

A recent attack ad by John McCain labeled Barack Obama as being "the biggest celebrity in the world" and questioned if he is "ready to lead."

Obama, however, is accepting celebrity support. Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner are joining Matt and Luciana Damon in the name of Barack Obama. The couples are the special celebrity hosts of this very exclusive Generation Obama event.

Obama is not expected to attend the fundraiser.
