Judge denies motion for Miramar commissioner
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A judge has denied a motion to throw out a case against a suspended Miramar commissioner.
According to officials, Fitzroy Salesman is accused of pulling out a gun on a customer at a Winn-Dixie last November.
Salesman said he felt threatened and that Florida law allowed him to defend himself.
According to prosecutors, Salesman went too far, and instead, he should have called security or the police.
