Officials put school on lock down while searching for thieves
NORTH MIAMI (WSVN) -- Officers are searching for thieves along Northeast Fifth Avenue and 145th Street, who they said stole items from a house and took off in a rental truck.
Authorities caught one of the thieves and are searching for the others.
Officials said nearby "North Miami Elementary" had to be placed on lock down for quite some time. Students were allowed to go home at dismissal.
