Man charged with murder in infant's death
LAUDERHILL, Fla. (AP) -- Jail records show that a Lauderhill man accused of shaking his girlfriend's 10-month old son to death has been charged with murder.
Allen Rosario also faces a charge of aggravated child abuse in the Monday death of Anthony Davilas. A medical examiner's report released Tuesday showed the baby's death was caused by blunt force trauma after he was severely shaken. The shaking fractured Anthony's skull and caused internal bleeding.
Anthony's mother left the child with Rosario on Saturday. He told police the child fell off a bed and stopped breathing.
Rosario was being held without bond.
