4 dead, 8 injured after car hits bus stop in Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Rescuers say four people were killed and eight injured when a car plowed into a bus stop in Las Vegas.

Clark County Fire Department officials say some of those injured have life-threatening injuries after the crash a little before 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Spring Mountain Road east of Decatur Boulevard.

Roads were closed in the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.
