Hillary Clinton hospitalized after new complications

UNDATED -- Hillary Clinton was admitted to a New York hospital after doctors discovered a blood clot.

The clot stemmed from the concussion she suffered earlier this month as a result of a stomach virus that left her severely dehydrated. Doctors discovered the clot during a follow-up exam.

Clinton's reps said she will remain in the hospital for at least the next 48 hours for monitoring.

Her spokesman released a statement which stated, "Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion. They will determine if any further action is required."
