Contract worker breaks leg in NM lab's rocket test
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- Investigators say a worker suffered burns and a broken leg after a rocket motor ignited prematurely during a test at a federal laboratory in New Mexico.
The contractor for Transportation Management Services Solutions was flown Thursday from Sandia National Laboratories to a hospital.
Two other lab employees were taken to the hospital by ambulance after they complained of impaired hearing.
The lab says it's investigating.
