Deputies: Woman ran over, killed husband
LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) -- Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies have arrested a woman on drunk driving charges for a December incident where they say she drove over and killed her husband.
Authorities charged 41-year-old Rhonda Lane on Friday for driving under the influence. The Dec. 7 collision killed 40-year-old Nick Lane.
According to sheriff's office reports, Nick Lane was trying to stop his wife from driving away from a domestic dispute and jumped on the hood of the 1995 Dodge truck she was driving. He fell off the hood and Rhonda Lane ran him over. He died at the hospital.
The Lanes had been married for three years.
