WOODSTOCK, N.H. (AP) -- A video surveillance camera hanging over a mounted elk head at a New Hampshire gun shop has recorded a man smashing glass cases, grabbing some guns and putting them in a suitcase before fleeing.

Police say the man was in the Woodstock store for less than a minute early Monday.

Police Chief Douglas Moorhead says the video shows the man entering Charlie's Gun and Sports Store at about 4 a.m. The video shows him using a claw hammer to break into two glass cases.

Police say he stuffed 11 handguns into the suitcase. Moorhead says they were worth about $4,000.
