The battle continues with congressional ballots

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Even after the results are in, Congressman Allen West is taking his ballot battle to Tallahassee.

St. Lucie County missed a deadline to report results of a two-day recount to the state.

Since the board missed the deadline, last week's results stand.

West's camp however, is not ready to concede to Democrat Patrick Murphy and is filing for an emergency hearing.

His team of attorneys say they did not like the way the voluntary recount was handled.
