MIAMI -- After eighteen years of hoping and dreaming, the Miami Heat have finally brought a championship home and with it an unparalelled celebration.[more]
Parade Information: The parade will begin at the American Airlines Arena, go south on Biscayne Blvd. to SE First Street and make a U-turn back north on Biscayne Boulevard. The parade will conclude with a huge celebration on the north side of the arena.
Parking: The Miami Parking Authority (MPA), has informed that parking at all their downtown locations will be only $7 for the hours during which the Championship Heat Parade will take place. Locations include the Courthouse Center Garage: NW 3rd St Miami, FL 33128 (Between NW 1st Ave. and N Miami Ave.); Cultural Center Garage: 90 SW 1st St Miami, FL 33130 (At SW 1st Ave.); College Station Garage: 190 NE 3rd St Miami, FL 33132 (At NE 2nd Ave.); Convention Center Garage: 100 SE 2nd ST Miami, FL 33131 (Bank of America building); Oak Avenue Parking Plaza Garage: 3310 Mary ST Coconut Grove, FL 33133.City, county and police officials urge the public to use public transportation such as the Metromover (free service), Metrorail, and/or Metrobus.
