DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A 9-year-old boy is touring the country with his family and showing off his skills as a monster truck driver.

"They're out there just watching and it seems like it's really hard but no, it's actually really easy," said 9-year-old KJ Olson-Weston.

At the tender age of five, KJ Olson-Weston became the youngest monster truck driver. "Went to a monster truck show when I was three and I said I wanted to be a monster truck driver," he said. "It's awesome being able to drive a monster truck."

KJ Olson-Weston 7-year-old brother is also an aspiring to be a monster truck driver and even has his own truck. "It feels really good to be the world's youngest monster truck driver," said Jake Olson-Weston.

"KJ started it, he was the pioneer, Jake started up this year and followed along and he loves it," said Tod Olson-Weston. "They get out there and they hit the pavement just like the big trucks."

The two siblings said their mother even gets involved in the monster truck madness. "She sort of drives crazy," said Jake Olson-Weston.

Nancy Olson said her sons give her inspiration as a monster truck driver. "Both of my boys teach me a few things," she said. "We look at the jumps together, we suggest to each other, the speed."

The family is recognized nationwide for their sportsman like talent. "These kids are household names, Todd, Nancy, all of them that are behind that program, that's our future," said an official.
