ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Central Florida football coach George O'Leary has hired two assistants to replace a pair of coaches that departed after the season.

O'Leary announced Tuesday the additions of Lorenzo Costantini as defensive line coach, and Mike Buscemi as special teams' coordinator and tight ends coach. They take over for former assistants Blaise Winter and Allen Mogridge.

Winter is pursuing NFL opportunities; Mogridge took an assistant coaching job at Temple.

Costantini and Buscemi both have previous ties to UCF.

Costantini served as Knights' defensive line coach from 2000 to 2003, and during a stint as an Alabama Birmingham assistant worked alongside current Knights' linebacker coach Tyson Summers.

Buscemi was a long snapper at UCF from 2004 to 2007 and a member of the UCF's 2007 Conference USA championship team.
