CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- The University of Miami men's basketball team hopes to continue their winning streak Tuesday night when they play against the University of Virginia's Cavaliers.

The Hurricanes will be facing their East Coast opponents to a sold-out crowd at the UM campus.

The local team already has the longest winning streak in the country with 13 straight wins. They are currently ranked second on the ACC men's college basketball circuit.

The top team, the Indiana Hoosiers, plays against the fourth-ranked team, Michigan State, tonight. If Indiana loses, and if the Canes win tonight and beat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday, they will be the new number one team in the country.
